Handcrafted fine silver (999) Geranium leaf pendant made of pure recycled silver (99.9% silver) on a sterling silver chain. This is a completely unique, one of a kind piece, having been formed from a real leaf.
This item comes in a jewellery presentation box as shown in the product photos. You will also receive a FREE polishing cloth and drawstring cotton gift bag with this item.
I made this item by carefully applying several layers of recycled silver clay to a real leaf, by hand, then firing it in my kiln to remove all impurities, so that only pure silver remained. The fine details of the veins and texture of the leaf are captured in the silver. Being made of fine silver, this pendant is brighter in colour than sterling silver.
--About Silver Clay--
Silver cIay is formed from silver that is recycled from a range of sources, including waste from x-rays and the photographic industry. This silver is mixed with an organic binder and water and can then be moulded and formed into a wide range of designs. When silver clay is fired the organic binder and water are removed, leaving you with a piece of pure 999 silver.

--Caring for your jewellery--
Exposure to water, perfumes, lotions etc will quicken the naturally occurring process of metal tarnishing. Prevent tarnishing by keeping your jewellery dry and polishing it regularly (with the free polishing cloth included). Store your jewellery safely when not in use. Keeping this item in the presentation box it is sent in will help prevent tarnishing as the velvet inside contains an anti-tarnish compound.
